Refund and Cancellation Policy

We are committed to providing you with a meaningful and supportive experience, whether you are booking a lactation consultation or ordering a one-of-a-kind keepsake. Due to the highly personalized nature of our offerings, please carefully review the policies below before placing your order.

1:1 Lactation Consultations

  • Refunds: All lactation consultations are non-refundable. Once booked, your time is reserved exclusively for you and cannot be rescheduled without 24 hours’ notice.

  • Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows or last-minute cancellations will forfeit the session and payment.

Keepsake Jewelry

  • Returns: Due to the custom and sentimental nature of each piece, returns are not accepted.

  • Order Cancellations:

    • Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund.

    • After 24 hours, a store credit will be issued for future use.

    • Important: If your inclusions (e.g., breastmilk, ashes, fabric) have already arrived at our studio, the order is considered in progress and cannot be cancelled or credited.

    • If inclusions are still pending and have not been received, the 24-hour cancellation policy applies.

    • Customers have up to 1 year from the date of purchase to send in their inclusions without any additional fees (such as reprocessing fees). If a customer decides to cancel after this period, the standard cancellation policy still applies.

      Inclusion Handling: We are not responsible for lost or damaged inclusions during transit. Please follow our packaging guidelines and use tracked or insured shipping. Once inclusions are received, we preserve them with the utmost care. Any unused portions may be stored for future orders unless otherwise requested.

Custom Metalsmith Jewelry

  • Non-Refundable Deposits: A deposit is required to begin production. This deposit is non-refundable and covers material procurement, design work, and labor initiation.

  • Final Sale: All custom metalsmith pieces are final sale and are non-returnable due to their personalized nature. These pieces are designed uniquely for you and cannot be resold.

  • Modifications & Repairs: If you require adjustments or repairs, please contact us directly. We are happy to assist where possible, depending on the scope of the request.

  • Cancellations: If you choose to cancel before production has begun and your inclusions have not been received, store credit may be issued as per the general cancellation policy. Once production begins, cancellations are no longer eligible for credit or refund.

  • Design Approval: All custom orders require clear and documented communication regarding design expectations (including sketches, CAD drawings, or written descriptions). This ensures accuracy and limits the potential for disputes.

Shipping & Lost Packages

  • Tracking: It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor tracking updates. Packages are shipped with USPS or the selected carrier.

  • Lost or Stolen Packages:

    • If your shipment was insured and goes missing, we will assist in initiating a claim with the carrier.

    • If the shipment was not insured, please contact us to discuss options; however, we cannot offer refunds for lost packages without insurance, as the product has already been created.

    • Recommendation: We strongly encourage customers to select shipping insurance at checkout to protect their investment.

Digital Products

  • All digital product sales are final. Due to the instant and irrevocable nature of digital downloads, no refunds or exchanges will be granted.

Gift Cards

  • Non-Refundable: All gift card purchases are final sale and may not be returned, refunded, or redeemed for cash (except where required by law).

Customer Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate order and shipping information, following submission guidelines for inclusions, and monitoring shipping notifications.

  • Delays resulting from incorrect or incomplete customer information will not be the responsibility of Empowered Mama Jewelry.

Chargebacks and Disputes

  • If you are unsatisfied with your order or experience an issue, please contact us first.

  • Initiating a chargeback or dispute without contacting us directly may result in ineligibility for future services or remakes. We are committed to resolving concerns with fairness and transparency.

  • In the event a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated through your financial institution, all work on the corresponding order will be immediately paused. This includes production, packaging, and shipping.

  • Orders with open disputes cannot be fulfilled under any circumstances until the dispute is formally resolved and closed in our favor. If the dispute is withdrawn or canceled by the customer and verified by our payment processor, order processing will resume.

    Please note: If a dispute remains unresolved, the order is considered forfeited and will not be shipped or refunded until the claim is cleared
